Components for the student

1- The Students Book Pack

• 9 main units, which fit neatly into a nine month academic year.
• Each unit provides 8 complete lessons.
• Student’s Books 1 to 6 also contain an additional 3 Home Study pages per unit at the back of the book.

2- Student’s Multi-ROM (Packaged with Students Book)

• Full student audio from the series.
• Fully interactive CD-ROM section for additional vocabulary and spelling / writing practice and consolidation.
• Spelling and dictation activities are delivered in a variety of fun game engines.

3- Activity Resource Pack (Packaged with Student’s Book)

• Black Line Master activity sheets and Song Activity Sheets.
• Song Activity Sheets will provide simplified instructions in English to replace the Spanish instructions, and will be there for teacher reference.

Components for the teacher

1- Large format Big Book Builders

• (Big Books) (x 3, full color, one Big Book per 2 levels).
• A large illustrated Big Book Builder spread for every unit of each Student’s Book (9 per level).
• Guidelines on how to use a picture dictionary and poster artwork in the introduction of the Teacher’s Books.
• Topic specific activities, such as simple dialogue drills to improve communication.
• Fun chants called Bounce Beats to improve pronunciation.
• Games and activities to stimulate memory and consolidate learning.

2- Teacher’s Edition

• Integrated answers.
• English and Spanish versions available.
• Step-by-step guidance on how and when to use the Student and Teacher components.
• Information on what language and learning competencies are being developed in each unit, in line with international standards.
• The Starter TE will be English and includes an Evaluation Section (as there is no separate Assessment Pack).

3- Teacher’s Multi-ROM (x 7, packaged separately).

• A full projectable version of the SB pages with interactive tools and click-on answers.
• Full Class Audio files for all of the listening activities in the Student’s Book, which can be played on CD players as well as computers.
• The Big Book Builders (Big Books) as projectable PDFs with interactive functionality.

4- Assessment Pack  (x 1 for all 6 levels, photocopiable, 72 pp)

• Photocopiable Unit Tests drawn from the existing Bounce Teacher’s Editions.
• Test answers, and information about how and when to evaluate children’s progress.
• Tests will be delivered in a single volume pack for the whole series and will be photocopiable.

5- Methodology

• The syllabus and methodology is designed for average English teachers (who have often received little training beyond a general teaching diploma).
• Conventional approach but still lively and fun.
• Adopts a (PPP) methodology which is transparent and extremely easy to follow.
• Easy introduction to learning competencies through the Teacher’s Edition.

Components for the student:

1- Student Book with integrated Home Study Worksheets

• Student’s Books integrate the Homework Book pages to create a single volume Student’s Book.
• Integrated Home Study Worksheets which can be used as extension practice in the classroom or as homework to reinforce language.

2- Student’s Multi-ROM

• Full student audio from the original series, plus the audio from the Big Book Builder.
• Fully interactive Spelling and Writing CD-ROM section for additional vocabulary and spelling / writing practice and consolidation.
• Spelling and Dictation activities are delivered in a variety of fun game engines.
• The Starter level Student’s Multi-Rom reflects the objectives of the Starter SB and practice listening.
• There is no reading or writing at Starter level.
• Interactive interface with information for parents (in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Chinese), as well as the section for students.

3-  Activity Resource Book

• Black Line Master activity sheets and the Song Activity Sheets corresponding to each level.
• Song Activity Sheets provide simplified instructions in English to replace the Spanish instructions, and are there for teacher reference.
• The BLMs for the Starter level are at the back of the Student’s Book.

4- Large format Big Book Builder 

• The beautiful artwork used in the Bounce posters and the Talk about... lessons has been reformatted and incorporated into large format Big Book Builders.
• The concept is to provide “poster” material in an original and more manageable format, incorporating a picture dictionary and further activities for language development.
• There are general guidelines on how to use a picture dictionary and poster artwork in the introduction of the Teacher’s Edition providing topic specific activities, such as simple dialogue drills to improve communication skills, fun chants called Bounce Beats to improve pronunciation, games and activities to stimulate memory and consolidate learning.
• The Big Book Builder for the Starter level has 9 stories told through pictures and audio. It uses a variety of stunning artwork styles and a join-in audio feature designed to encourage the children to participate in the narrative.

6- Teacher’s Edition

• The Teacher’s edition continues to be interleaved and there is an English language version as well as a Spanish version.
• The Starter level TE will only be available in English.
• Step-by-step guidance on how and when to use the student and teacher components.
• Information on what language and learning competencies are being developed in each unit, in line with international standards.

7- Teacher’s Multi-ROM

• Fully projectable IWB version of the SB pages with in-built answers, zoom in, integrated audio, typing functionality for student’s answers, erase, underline, highlight, block out and scroll down functions.
• Full class audio files for all of the listening activities in the Student’s Book and Big Book Builder.

8- Assessment Pack

• Photocopiable Unit Tests drawn from the existing Bounce Teacher’s Editions, test answers, and information about how and when to evaluate children’s progress.
• Tests are delivered in a single volume pack for the whole series and are photocopiable. The Evaluations for the Starter level are in the Teacher Edition.
